You have probably heard the term "Plant Based" and it can mean many things. It doesn't mean that you hug tree's and give up meat altogether but its beneficial for you to go plant based for a while or at least make it a big part of your nutrition.
It means that you add more plant based matter to your body. More greens, more salads, more wholefoods that are plant based. You will feel pretty damn amazing when you do it.
In my Plant Based Paramedic eBook, you will find lots of ways to improve your nutrition plus lots of reasons why you should try to go 100% plant based. Here is why I love it.
I'm bloat free all the time. I just don't get the bloated feelings post meals.
I feel I have more energy. I get up early in the morning on days off and do weights, cardio, shop then come home and cook meals for my station. I just feel really alive.
My skin is amazing, my hair grows so fast and my nails are strong.
I feel more hydrated being plant based. I know this because one of my biggest problems eating meat and carbs all the time made me less inclined to drink water because I was so full.
I get to play around more with my food prep and try lots of different plant based meals. I eat more lentils and chick peas plus I'm a little obsessed with polenta right now. Then I add lots of plant based foods like spinach, zucchini, cauliflower etc. Add a bit of vegan chicken stock and curry plus organic coconut milk and BOOM, I feel like a food master!
One of the most important things I have done eating plant based is improve my gut health. My belly feels better and my mind has a clarity I haven't had before.
